COVID-19 Health and Safety Guidelines
As more students and staff return to campus starting September 2021, it is essential for everyone at the College to adhere to the following health and safety measures:
- Public Transport: Follow government guidelines when using public transport.
- Campus Testing: Participate in random campus testing. Initially, a sample of students and staff will be tested weekly. Testing frequency may change based on case numbers and updated government guidelines.
- Symptom Monitoring: If you or your campus test display symptoms, or if you have a high temperature, you will be asked to leave campus immediately. In such cases, follow NHS guidelines.
- Face Coverings: Wear a face covering in communal areas.
- Social Distancing: Maintain social distancing outside your designated bubble.
- Hygiene Practices: Frequently wash your hands and use hand sanitizers.
- Personal Items: Use your own stationery.
- Group Gatherings: Avoid gathering in groups larger than three people.
- Ventilation: Ensure classrooms and offices remain ventilated at all times.
- Symptom Check: Use the symptom checker before traveling to campus for classes or work.

- Staff and Student Illness: If you are unwell and unable to attend work or classes, provide an NHS isolation note to Human Resources (for staff) or Admin (for students). Learn more about obtaining an isolation note here.
- Household Contacts: If someone in your household tests positive for COVID-19 or you have been in close contact with a positive case, you must also self-isolate. Further guidance on self-isolation is available here.
